Website TIPS AND TRICKS with Glenn Sinclair
You can find me over on my Link-Tree at https://linktr.ee/glenn_philip_sinclair

This website >>> https://sinclairglenn.wordpress.com
is an example of this... And you could promote your eBooks or SME offers for example.
I shall endeavor to layout the process, for you to follow, to get your own free website just somewhat similar to this above. Yes, this website is rudimentary, and that is for a reason.
I am keeping it FREE and BASIC, and because they want to you upgrade all the bleeding time, which I do not need. lol.
(Free Google Sites does not annoy you like Wordpress.com does. SEE BELOW)
JUST THE BASICS… I have not paid for any upgrades for this process (as YET?)…
AND I hope not too actually.
So many good options out there. SEE BELOW
I just noticed that while editing a WORDPRESS.COM hosted https://sinclairglenn.wordpress.com/ article that there are so many SO CALLED FREE plugins that you cannot even use for free, even though they are actually free to normal wordpress.net users. The different prices of the server offering is the issue here. Hosted by Them or hosted by say ifastnet.com and you install 'wordpress' the actual program, from their/your cPANEL dashboard. But in this instance we are going full-tilt to see what we can squeeze out of this free online cloud version here on WORDPRESS.COM You can play with it to.
With Wordpress Hosted by them:
THEY want you to pay for an upgrade so that you can use the free plugins... I find this so ironic. LOL.
That just need you to keep it simple. your own eBooks, Affiliate Products on Offer,
Your own digital creations too.
ALSO Google HAS A FREE WEBSITE SITES OFFER, it goes along with your google email address, and it is a bit tricky to find it buried deep as it is in all their clever web tools.
So I made a video of how to find it for those who may be interested to give it a go, but i cannot find it at the moment so, I found TONY here is talking about it for fifteen minutes.
I put it up on Youtube and here is a link.
I do have so many other websites,
and on paid hosting cloud servers…
[SUCH AS THIS HOSTING WEBSITE SERVER]
HOWEVER FOR THIS FREE WEBSITE EXERCISE:
Lets stick with the free version WORDPRESS.COM here. https://sinclairglenn.wordpress.com/
REMEMBER:I do have many other websites that I pay hosting services for, and that brings us to a definite distinction between FREE AND HOSTED WORDPRESS by these WordPress guys, and the FREE down-loadable and installable version of WordPress.
The free version that you must host yourself is from WORDPRESS.NET,
and then you have to install it somewhere else.
HostGator… Great hosting. I used them for MANY YEARS.
Go Daddy (they are a marketing nightmare imo)
FastNet.com (in the UK and I Iove em) FIVE STARS.
THERE So many others. Do a Grok or other AI search.
NOTE: You control your website fully this way,
because you also control the website via your hosting service,
and your access to the cPANEL (or others) Dashboard to simply manage it all.
RESEARCH: These being a short list above. So check them out as see their sales offer pages.
Your URL/Domain Registration (every Year), say NAMECHEAP or ENOM.
Web Server Hosting, see above…
Website Maintenance by someone clever, if you do not do it yourself… (yes it is easy)
The first time you install wordpress on your own server is the hardest time, it gets better and easier after that. Incremental Improvements of your learning capability, or one day at a time, etc
I RECOMMEND: The book called Failing Forward: Turning Mistakes into Stepping Stones for Success
Is a really good reframe of "LEARNING to Learn", by taking the pain away from mistakes.
Most people are never prepared to deal with failure.
Bestselling author John C. Maxwell
says that if you are like him, you feared it, misunderstood it, and ran away from it.However, he has learned to make failure his friend, and he can teach you to do the same.
Maxwell takes a closer look at failure and reveals that the secret of moving beyond failure
is to use it as a lesson and a stepping-stone.In Failing Forward, Maxwell will show you:
the key main reasons people fail,
how to master fear instead of being mastered by it,
and positive benefits can accompany negative experiences.
Filled with action suggestions and real-life stores, Failing Forward is a strategic guide
that will help you move beyond mistakes to fulfill your potential and achieve success.
AND THAT'S ABOUT IT… HAVE FUN.
